This is where the family blogs are located.

Right now there are two, "Us" and "Adam". The DotNetNuke blogging module does not currently allow more than one editor of a blog, so I cannot create an "Us" blog that both Heather and I can edit from our regular logins. Since Heather never really created her own, she just used the "Us" one, and I almost never posted to "Us" but just used my own, I figure this will work for now. I can easily create a seperate user account that is called "heathernadam" or some such, move the "Us" blog to that one, and then we can create one specifically for Heather. In fact, I can play with the database such that I constantly switch who is in charge of the "Us" blog as needed, but to automate it and make it easy will take some work. That may be the first project I work on for this site...

Heather and Adam's family blog. Right now only one person can contribute to any given blog. Ok, that's not 100% true, there are ways to circumvent it - but they are convoluted, advanced, unsupported, and don't really count. That said - I'll (Adam) use them when I need to, but for the most part Heather is the author of this blog.

We wanted to do a short update on the latest news on our family. In short our family is growing as we are looking forward to the addition of a new member sometime in September.

Well as of yesterday I am 37 weeks along.  So 3 weeks to my due date.  It is hard to believe at times.  Although as people keep asking I am definitely getting to a point where I'm ready to meet our little one.  We have made good progress on the Nursery in the last few weeks.  The crib is now in place and thanks to Adam's mom we have curtains and valences up.  There are still a few things to do in the nursery before it is completely done but we are getting there.  Adam purchased our dresser/changing table on Friday after work so sometime in the next two weeks we should be able to pick it up.  Once we have that in the room I will put clothes away and look at putting up the wall decorations.  I want to be able to place them according to where the furniture is.  But if baby were to come tomorrow we would have what we need.  Well I don't know what else to say right now so I'm going to end this post with a few pictures of the nursery as it currently is with me in them so people can see how I'm looking.
